you don't need to apologize for keeping your city nice and clean.

  2. Big Daddy says:

I hope Long Beach, CA does the same thing

  3. California Sunshine says:

Housing is not a right. Get a job and get a place to live. Ridiculous.

  4. James Lee says:

These homeless people may have lost their retirement from the 2008 home market crash. They weren't able to recover with high tech jobs in demand, instead did drugs to cope with loss.

I'm willing to pay extra in sales or State income taxes to help get these people off the streets, and into a tiny-home where they'll at least have a community of support

  5. thevernonposse says:

There’s only one reason that these people would rather stay out on the street then go into a shelter it’s because they would rather beg and harass The general public for money a truly homeless person who is cold and hungry that is down on his luck going through rough times and just trying to survive and would love a hot meal and a place to sleep the only ones that would turn that down are the ones who would steal from their mother and sell you their daughter the leaches of society con artists scumbags with serious substance abuse problems

  6. Americans First says:

How in the hell is the homeless people going to pay the fine if they don’t have the money that why they are homeless.

  7. ScorpionSensualTouch says:

Good move. What's crazy is a lot of them WANT to be homeless. Only 2 out 10 work hard to change their circumstances… Trust me, I know.

  8. MrThrock09 says:

Michele Fiore I’ve tried to be a supporter of you but now you’re talking like a big government low IQ human.

You said and I quote they can just choose to walk away and then enforcement walks away.

Did you hear what you just said where in the F are they gonna walk away to maybe Las Vegas would do better to ship them to Salt Lake City or to Sacramento or St. George Utah.

You see New York City was just cut shipping thousands of homeless people out west give a bus ticket some money in their pocket and good riddance.
It seems government officials can never get their head together with what the reality is for some people. …

  9. Deborah Kerns says:

Decades ago, homeless addicts would purposely commit petty crimes just so they could have a place to stay for the night…

  10. sweety black says:

so let me get this straight vegas gets paid money from the feds for the homeless the local officials STEAL that money now declares homelessness illegal ..Aholes running the city MUST BE CRIMINAL DEMOCRATS

  11. jerry sanders says:

  12. J O says:

Love she is called being homeless camping. Oh!! Ofc they just set up a camp for the weekend roasting marshmellows and having a grand old time. What an out of touch idiot.

  13. MIKE EFIRD says:

Homeless should be a crime on public and private land.

  14. j rob says:

Good luck collecting a fine, stupid law they'll get a few days in jail with three hots and a cot, winner winner chicken dinner then back to the street.

  15. J W says:

It does criminalize homelessness. But, allowing people to live like this is reprehensible due to public safety etc…
So, lock them up and make them work until they can have enough education teaching them how to handle money and deal with the issues that got them their. Then they pay us back a percentage of their future income until the interest free monies are paid back.

And for those who are mentally/physically unable. Give them lifetime instutional care…No win situation either way…

  16. Brittan Beyl says:

This is just sad… How can it be a crime to not have a house?? What a corrupt government we live in.

We need to make sure people are paid a living wage. That rent prices are brought back down to a reasonable rate. And that people have access to mental healthcare.

Shame on anyone that has no compassion for the less fortunate.

  17. JWfan Dick says:

She just admitted that the ordinance they have in place is not affective…

  18. Golf King says:
