“What is Exercise?” Episode 6/Proven Solution!

Hey, what’s up everybody? Today I want to
share with you how Milton’s Strength Training eliminates back and neck pain
by exercising in ten minutes, three days a week. Alright! Here we go!
In our previous video “What is Exercise? we learned how Milton’s Strength Training
improves health and fitness in a time efficient manner. In today’s video, we’ll
learn how Milton’s Strength Training eliminates back and neck pain by exercising
ten minutes, three days a week. In order to help people eliminate back and
neck pain, I integrated the accumulated knowledge and experience I gained from
years of treating, training and helping thousands of clients with
musculoskeletal disorders, pain, and injuries and then focused my attention on
the structure of the skeleton. Our skeleton is divided into three systems; pelvic appendicular, axial, and pectoral appendicular. Located at the
inferior end of the spinal column is the sacrum, a triangular shaped bone that’s
cradled between the left and right ilium bones. I reasoned that if the muscles that
attach to the sacrum and cross the sacroiliac joints are not strong enough,
our spinal foundation will be weak and unstable, therefore causing the spine
to be out of balance. With his insight I realized that the sacrum and sacroiliac
joints are where we need structural support for the foundation of the spine.
In contrast, the conventional approach for eliminating back and neck pain has
no regard for strengthening the musculature that supports and stabilizes the
foundation of the spine at the sacrum and sacroiliac joints. The conventional
approach only focuses on strengthening the erector spinae and the abdominals.
These muscles do not provide side-to-side support or stabilization for the sacrum
from its lateral edges and do not support or stabilize the foundation of
the spine at the sacrum and sacroiliac joints. Gluteus maximus and piriformis
are the support struts that provide side-to-side support and stabilization
for the sacrum from its lateral edges and provide support and stabilization for
the foundation of the spine at the sacrum and sacroiliac joints. It’s very
important for us to understand that the strengthening of gluteus
maximus and piriformis is crucial to provide optimum support and
stabilization for the foundation of the spine in order to achieve the
sustainable elimination of back and neck pain. Milton’s Strength Training includes the
strengthening of gluteus maximus through a combination of isotonic and isometric
muscle actions, piriformis through isometric muscle actions, the intrinsic
axial musculature through a combination of isotonic and isometric
muscle actions, and the abdominals through isometric muscle actions as
these muscles help stabilize and balance the upper body over the lower body while
performing Milton’s Strength Training. By strengthening the musculature of the
body as a whole, including the back, neck, abdominals,
glutues maximus and piriformis, Milton’s Strength Training provides support,
stabilization, and balance from the foundation of the spine to the base of a
head, therefore resulting in improved spinal posture, stabilized joint alignment,
and improved joint function for complete back and neck pain elimination. As an
added benefit to the sustainable elimination of back and neck pain Milton’s
Strength Training also improves joint health throughout the body. joint health throughout the body. This is
accomplished by increasing muscle mass throughout the body, limiting excessive joint
repetition and eliminating joint impact. when we increase muscle mass throughout
the body, including the musculature of the spine, it provides increased hydraulic lift to fight the force of gravity and
decompress all the joints of the body, including the facet joints and intervertebral
discs of the spine. As a result, the increase in muscle mass and hydraulic
lift in the spine helps avoid nerve compression which eliminates back and neck pain. The muscle stimulation of isotonic and
isometric muscle actions while performing Milton’s Strength Training
improves synovial fluid production to lubricate all the joint capsules of the
body including the facet joints of the spine. This muscle stimulation naturally creates diffusion for the purpose of
providing nutrition to the avascular intervertebral discs of the spine and the
cartilage of all the joints throughout the body. Avascular tissues do not have
direct blood flow to them and depend on diffusion to receive nutrition. Milton’s
Strength Training increases muscle mass, hydraulic lift, synovial fluid production
and diffusion, therefore improving joint health throughout the body. In order to
achieve the sustainable elimination of back and neck pain, we must observe the
following guidelines. One! We must accept and respect the structural limitations of
our joints. A structural limitation is caused by joint degeneration and/or
joint injury which creates an obstruction that limits the joint’s
natural range of motion. For example, in our spine osteophytes, thinning, bulging
or herniated intervertebral discs including Schmorl’s nodes. This is a herniated
intervertebral disc that protrudes upwards and downwards into the bodies of the adjacent vertebra. Two! While performing Milton’s Strength Training and your daily activities, only perform a range of motion you’re capable of performing
without experiencing pain or discomfort. Three! We must be mindful of our posture
while reclining, sitting, and standing. Becoming aware of and correcting our
posture while reclining, sitting, and standing helps protect and avoid
compressing spinal nerves and creating setbacks to our
strengthening progress. Over time the observance of these guidelines and the
accumulation of all the physiological benefits gained by performing Milton’s
Strength Training will result in improved spinal posture, stabilized joint
alignment, and improved joint function, therefore granting the sustainable
elimination of back and neck pain. Alright!
As we have learned in this six episode introduction to my book, “What is Exercise? Milton’s Guide to Health & Fitness,” Milton’s Strength Training performed for ten
minutes, three days a week provides a proven, simple powerful
solution for improving health and fitness and eliminating back and neck
pain. Remember, when you take action to improve your life by physically, mentally,
and emotionally transforming through a process of determination, a predominant
positive state of mind emerges and your new self-image of vitality and strength
becomes who you are.
